A BRIEF PROFILE

RAFFLES IMPORT & EXPORT PTY LTD is an import and export and wholesale trade company which was established in 2002 by Vinita Jain.  Smart Bytes is a subsidiary company of our parent company set up to deal wholly in e-commerce recently.

The main objective of this company is to strengthen the network of import/export of electronic items, computer hardware, computer accessories and Dual-SIM Card Mobiles. Our company is affiliated and is a partner of two already well established group of companies, Gemini Hi Tech Pte Ltd (Singapore) and Nasa Technics Pte Ltd (Singapore). The annual turnover of this group is more than 20 million. We have branch offices in India, China, New Zealand and Singapore.

The managing director of the company Raffles Import & Export Pty Ltd (Australia) is Ms. Vinita Jain, a degree holder from UK who has been in business for the past 15 years, and excels in business management. The operations side of the business is spearheaded by Mr Rajesh K Jain.

Since 2002 our company has been dealing with the import of computer and electronics from international manufacturers from Hong Kong, China and Taiwan.

We are agents and distributors for reputed brands and specialise in the distribution of laptops, digital cameras, MP3, MP4 and MP5 players, multimedia players, USB products and computer accessories, digital photo frames and computer hardware. We are dealing with reputed brands like MSI, Gigabyte, Kingston, Hewlett Packard, Muse2, Gemini and Perx. Our sales network includes many countries, including Southeast Asia, the subcontinent, Europe and the Middle East.

Smart Bytes has its display showroom in Clayton and Brunswick. At present, our annual trade is around a quarter of a million, and this is rapidly expanding to other states of Australia.
